For this delicious Tuscan Herb Chicken recipe, here’s how to make the best of the ingredients…

Chicken Breasts: Use chicken breasts over tenders or anything of the like. Additionally, Cut each piece somewhat identical. Another option is to slice the chicken breast in half-vertically. Also, the chicken needs to be thawed and well-seasoned before placing it in the cast iron pan.

Better Than Bouillon: This is a crucial ingredient👌. Usually, most cooks are accustomed to using chicken bouillon or maggie cubes. The ‘Better than Bouillon’ ingredients are subtle and not overbearing where you can’t add other ingredients. 👍

Salt: I always stick with Himalayan Salt if I need salt; it has minerals and is just better all around.

Spinach: Baby Spinach is the best choice for this recipe because it doesn’t take over the sauce; it only helps to add flavor and substance.

Italian Seasonings and Oregano: For this recipe, I used dry seasonings, and with that, use a mortar and ensure the herbs are grounded well. It will help to bring out the flavor!

Keto Diet: Instead of using heavy cream, use coconut milk.

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the cast iron pan to medium-high. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper and Better than Bouillon. Set aside.

  2. Dice the garlic cloves and onions. Line the cast iron pan with extra virgin olive oil and sauté well. Cook the chicken until golden brown on each side. Deglaze the cast iron pan by pouring in the white wine. Add heavy cream, parmesan, spinach, sweet red peppers and herbs. Gently mix around the chicken. Serve warm, and Enjoy!

I have just recently completely changed my diet and eating habits due to some stomach issues and I have been looking around for alternative recipes for me to try and this has been by far, my favorite one. Not to let it pass by how easy it looks. The taste of garlic on chicken is always a delight and seeing that you also use Himalayan salt is a huge relief for me because I don’t normally use salt because most of what we eat or what we cook it already has salt but the times I do have to use it, Himalayan is the way to go!
