Hi there! Welcome to my cooking website! I’m so glad to have you on this journey with me. Just a little about me: I’m a second-generation Nigerian, born in Houston, Texas. In the sixth grade I moved to Snellville, GA and lived in Georgia for 28 years.  After meeting the love of my life, we got engaged and moved to Rock Springs, WY for work because he is a college basketball coach. We lived in Wyoming for three years and have since moved to Maine, West Virginia and now we live in New Mexico. Many sweet memories and 3 kids later, I have SO MUCH to share! Talk about an adventure!

Since I come from a deep rooted pre-dominate Nigerian culture (Anambra and Ondo regions), I have always been very fond of culture and the spices that go along with it! It excites me! Moving around the nation I have learned so much and you will see that in my recipes, as well.

I decided to launch Home with Ayoola, because I saw a need for a central location to share my love of MANY cultural dishes.  These recipes can be easily made during the week at home for do-it-all mom’s like me.   I’m super excited for this new journey and more excited you’re sharing it with me!

  1. Hello Ayoola, A very nice story about yourself. It’s really nice to have to see you have a Nigerian background as well because I have too. I am super excited for you starting your journey and I look forward for seeing your articles. I have prepared my mind already for some mind blowing articles from you. Goodluck on your journey.

  2. Hi Ayoola glad to meet you! Will be eagerly looking for your recipes. While I don’t have a website about cooking, I do have one that shares eating tips for people with diabetes and those people living a low carb lifestyle. Look forward to all the great ideas about good eats and perhaps sending folks to look at some of the good dishes on your site. Wish you all the best.
